Normal Newborn Behaviours

How our babies behave can feel as though it is under constant scrutiny, with no doubt well meaning questions like ‘are they a good sleeper?’ or ‘are they a good baby?’ sometimes making us wonder what exactly we should be expecting, and what is ‘normal’

Well ‘normal’ comes in many different shapes and sizes.

This workshop is here to help decode some of that, to prepare and to reassure, and also to help you cope when that ‘normal’ behaviour is hard work.

This workshops takes an evidence based dive into research and recommendations on topics such as newborn and infant sleep, crying and nursing. Then opens the floor to wider discussion on any concerns or questions from workshop participants.

Our goal is for you to leave feeling more confident in your abilities to identify and deal with what is going on with your child.

Please be aware, we are never going to give medical advise or tell you or anyone else that a child or a child’s behaviour isn’t normal. If you have specific concerns then we always recommend speaking to a clinical practitioner.
