Woven Wraps For Beginners

Woven wraps are often considered to be the most comfortable and versatile way to carry a child. they can be used from newborn all the way to adulthood if you wanted to. You can carry on your front, on your hip and on your back, and you can nurse in one!

They can be versatile and utilitarian items, made of good strong washable cotton or linen, or incredibly beautiful and emotionally significant, with rare fibres such as silk, or cashmere. As long as you love using it, it doesn’t matter!

So if that’s the case, why don’t you see more people using them? One of the answers to that is that they can seem complicated and intimidating.

We are here to show you that this isn’t the case!

This woven wrap beginners workshop starts with the basics of wraps, identifying base sizes, looking at blends and at the concept of strand by strand tightening.

It then moves on to teach you some basic front carries.

You are free to bring your own woven wrap along, or use one of the many we have available in our library
